Vote Safe Pop-up Events

Better Civics partnered with All Voting is Local, Congregations Affiliated to Strengthen Elections (CASE), Shape Up The Vote, SEAMAAC, and Unity in the Community to co-host five “Vote Safe" pop-up events across Philadelphia: South, Southwest, Northwest & North.

To address our city's digital divide, we supported residents in person with information to vote safe and vote informed.

At each event, we provided:

• Resources to vote safely, including Vote-By-Mail applications, Vote Safe kits to bring to the polls, access to transportation, and translation services

• Canvassers to invite neighbors to the event and answer election questions

• Access to other resources including assistance with food security, job training and placement, and other City services

Note on safety: All events complied with COVID-19 safety standards. Volunteers and attendees were given PPE kits including gloves, masks, and sanitation wipes.
